Our Home. Our Future. Our Legacy.

Save Black Atlanta was born from the urgent need to protect our communities from displacement and disinvestment. For decades, Black Atlantans have watched as gentrification, rising property taxes, and lack of affordable housing pushed families out of neighborhoods they built.
We refuse to accept this as inevitable. Our movement brings together residents, business owners, organizers, and community leaders to advocate for policies that preserve Black Atlanta's legacy while ensuring equitable development that benefits everyone.
We are saving our neighborhoods, our culture, our history, and our future.
We work to keep families in their homes through affordable housing protections, property tax relief, and policies that prioritize long-time and lower-income residents over speculative development.
We demand that new development benefits existing residents, not just higher-income people. TAD extensions, economic development, infrastructure investments, and transit must center historically disinvested neighborhoods and protect legacy residents.
We build grassroots power by mobilizing residents to speak at public meetings, contact elected officials, and organize their neighbors, because our strength is in our numbers.
Atlanta's Black cultural legacy must be protected. We advocate for historic preservation, cultural institutions, and the spaces where our community thrives.

Education & Action
We inform community members and engage local leaders to understand the issues, organize their neighbors, and speak truth to power. Our organizing model helps residents take ownership of campaigns and drive change from the ground up.

Community Outreach
We reach out to elected officials, hold town halls, pack public meetings, knock on doors, and consistently show up in their inboxes so our community's priorities are heard, prioritized and taken seriously.
