Methodology Notes
All population and demographic data is sourced from official U.S. Census Bureau records. Displacement estimates are calculated using tract-level analysis comparing Black population changes in majority-Black census tracts between 1980 and 2020.
Housing wealth inequality figures are derived from ACS 5-Year Estimates (2019-2023) and represent aggregate housing values by race/ethnicity.
